Busy times....

The month of May has been super crazy with birthdays, baby dedications and graduations! The kids and I just got back from two graduations and a visit to my sister's house in Wichita. I posted pictures of Regan's birthday party and Grant's baby dedication, which were both over Mother's Day weekend, below. Be sure to check those out and as soon as I figure out where I packed the cord to the camera, I'll upload pictures from our graduation trips and post them too!

Grant's Baby Dedication

On Mother's Day, we had baby dedication day at church. It was a special time for Eric and I to stand in front of our church and vow to God and those in our church family that we will raise Grant in loving, Christian home and that we will teach him about Christ and what it means to live for His glory. Here are some pictures Aunt Sherry took that morning.

Momma and Grant...

The Rath's
The Sharp's came and brought 10 day old baby Isaac!!
A group shot, although this isn't even half of the families. I think there were 14 babies in all... of course none of them were as cute as Grant! :)

Regan's Birthday!

We had Regan's birthday party the weekend before her 2nd birthday. We invited a lot of family and a few friends over for a cookout. It was a lot of fun, despite the wind. Regan had a great time! Here's the birthday girl taking pictures with Aunt Sherry before the party began.
Regan and Grammy waiting on guests to arrive.
Hudson and Aunt Kristen came over for a little bit, which was so nice considering Isaac was born just one week before the party! Here are Regan and Hudson enjoying their hot dogs!
Grammy and Grampa bought Regan an outdoor picnic table for her birthday. It's so nice and we've already enjoyed a few picnics outside! Here are the kids eating... the other two boys are the head band director's sons, Davis and Conner.
The master chef...
We ended up having to move the party inside because of the wind, but nobody seemed to care. Regan did such a good job opening her presents... she got lots of great things!!
Blowing out the candles on her cake...
Regan got a bubble blower and she kept making this face every time she pulled the trigger to make the bubbles blow out. It was so funny!!

Laughing Baby and Loving Sister

I took this video this morning. Sorry there isn't any sound, but you can imagine his cute gurgling!

Leah and Lou Lou visit!!

This past weekend Eric's brother, Bill and his wife Karen brought the twins for a visit to see Regan and meet Grant. Regan can say "Leah" just fine but has a bit of trouble with "Lindsey", so I'm trying to get her to say "Lou Lou" instead. It's really cute, but Lindsey has yet to respond to her new nickname.... :)

We had a great time with them, even though it seemed like we blinked and our time was up. On Saturday morning we went to the zoo. There's not much to see at our zoo; we like to joke that the main attraction is the buffalo! I thought this was a cool picture... how often do you see a Texas Longhorn and a peacock together in the same picture!?
Regan looking at the black bear. The twins were a bit more wary of getting so close, but you can sort of see them in the reflection.
I'd like to pay homage to good ole EHS... I've never seen a real live wildcat!!
Regan and the "doat".
They have a little playground at the zoo, so we stopped there to play for a bit. I thought this was a cool picture.
Karen in one of her more feminine moments.
The three girls looking at the bobcat.
And baby Grant chillin' in the stroller. He was such a good baby the whole morning!!
Later that evening the girls wanted to take a picture of all of us. I think Leah took this one.
Grant getting some lovin' by the girls on Sunday morning.
Last week Nana bought Regan new "Orda" shoes (aka: Dora) at the mall. She put them on all by herself this morning! Didn't she do a good job!? :)
And baby Grant smiling at me this morning. He just melts my heart!
